KeePass refuses to start from the "start menu" / taskbar launcher
From the CLI, KeePass outputs a long error message starting like :
System.ArgumentException: A null reference or invalid value was found [GDI+ status: InvalidParameter]
(complete error message here)

As said in this thread and here also, this is not caused by KeePass itself but due either to :
- a bug in a Mono library (see this issue, open with no answer as of today )
- OR a bug in VirtualBox video drivers (source). Updating the Guest additions can fix it.

On my workstation (Debian 9.5), I've noticed the file /run/shm/mono.12345 has vanished

ps aux | grep 12345

/usr/bin/cli itself came from mono-runtime-sgen :

	mono-runtime-sgen: /usr/bin/mono-sgen

If this occurs on a VirtualBox guest, update the Guest additions.
Otherwise, log out + log in lets KeePass start ... until the next time

apt remove keepass2
apt install keepassxc
